About the Author
Mark Turner Young
President and Executive Director, Daybreak Ministries
Mark Turner Young is the President and Executive Director of Daybreak Ministries. His involvement in pro-life advocacy began through volunteer sidewalk counseling in the Buffalo, New York area.
Mark and his wife became personally involved in helping and hosting expectant mothers and walking alongside them through the births of their children. Those experiences helped shape the vision that eventually became Daybreak Ministries.
After developing a strategic plan for the ministry while completing his MBA at Houghton University, Mark helped reestablish Daybreak Ministries as a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing practical, compassionate assistance to pregnant women and their babies.
Walking Alongside Her grew from that same conviction: supporting life also means supporting the woman carrying that life.
